Welcome to Bikram Yoga Locust Valley, an approved Bikram Yoga College of India.
Bikram's Beginning Yoga Class is a twenty-six asana series designed to scientifically warm and stretch muscles, ligaments and tendons, in the order in which they should be stretched. The class is in a heated room.
Bikram Yoga's twenty-six postures systematically move fresh, oxygenated blood to 100% of your body, to each organ and fiber, restoring all systems to healthy working order, just as Nature intended. Proper weight, muscle tone, vibrant good health, and a sense of well-being will automatically follow.

Beginners are Welcome!
If you haven't practiced at our studio before, please arrive 15 minutes early to register. To prepare, drink plenty of water several hours before class and throughout the day, do not eat 3 hours before class, and wear light clothing. If you take a morning class, come on an empty stomach or eat a few cashews; if you take a 5pm or 7pm class, be sure to eat a big lunch earlier that day. Drink water all day and we suggest avoiding coffee right before class. To participate in class, you will need a large towel, a bottle of water, and a mat (we provide these as well).
The intro special is $25 for One Week Unlimited Yoga (7 consecutive days) and includes rental mat, 2 towels, and water on your first visit. Lobby is open 30 minutes before class.
All classes are 90 minutes. We have changing rooms and a shower. Bring a change of clothes for when you are done. Be prepared to sweat and have fun. When your first class is over you will feel a great happiness. Our mission at Bikram Yoga Locust Valley is to create a space comfortable for transformation. If you are new to the studio, please understand that there are basic codes of behavior that contribute to and help preserve an atmosphere of positivity.
